Your yard system, connected to POXA.
Connect the system you already run your yard on, and POXA knows what you have on the shelf and what you have sold. Breaker Value tells you which parts to stock, and every car you break is tracked against its real sales.
The systems we connect to.
Only one is used at a time, and you can change it whenever you like.
- Pinnacle (Yard management system, Live). A direct link to Pinnacle Pro. Your stock, every sale wherever it was made, and every car you have taken in, updated every night with no files to send.
- CSV upload (Any yard system, Live). Export a stock file and a sales file from the system you use and upload them. Set up in minutes, with a reminder email when they need updating.
- eBay store (Online store, Live). Sign in to eBay and your listings count as your stock. Best if everything you sell goes through eBay.
- Your system? (Ask us, Next). Run a different yard system? Tell us which one. We add new systems when yards ask for them, and CSV upload works in the meantime.
Pinnacle, linked straight to POXA.
Many UK breakers run their yard on Pinnacle. POXA links straight to it, so the stock, sales and cars you already keep in Pinnacle come into POXA by themselves. Nobody exports a file or keys anything in twice.
The link only reads. It never changes a price, a part or a record in Pinnacle, and it never reads your customers’ names, addresses or contact details.
- A read-only login. Your Pinnacle admin, or Pinnacle for you, sets up a POXA login that can read the stock, sales and car records, and nothing else. We help with this part.
- POXA checks it. Enter it in Connections › Pinnacle. POXA shows exactly what it will read, table by table, and what the login can see.
- Copied overnight. The first copy runs at night, inside the hours you choose, so it never slows your system while the yard is open.
- Kept up to date. After that only the changes are copied, every night. The connection page shows each run: when, how long and what came in.
What POXA reads
- Parts in stock, with their part numbers, prices and grades
- Every sale, with the channel it went through
- The cars you take in: VIN, reg and the date in
- What each car cost you, for its profit
What it never does
- Change anything in Pinnacle
- Read customer names, addresses or contact details
- Copy while the yard is busy
- Share your stock or sales with anyone else
What a connected yard gets.
- Stock it?. Every part in Breaker Value shows how many you already have, and says Stock or Don’t stock. You stop buying cars for parts that are already on the shelf.
- Every car tracked. Each car you break is matched to its sales, so you see what it has made against what POXA said it would.
- Yard analytics. How each car did, sales by channel and by part, and how close POXA’s numbers came to what you really sold.
- Same in every tool. Your stock shows in Breaker Value on the website, in the Breaker Value API and in the Auctions extension for Chrome.
Which one suits your yard.
Pinnacle connection
A direct link to your Pinnacle yard system. No files to send.
- Stock: Yes. Everything in your yard system.
- Sales: Yes. Every sale, wherever it was made.
- Car data: Yes. VIN, reg and date in for every car.
- Set-up: Needs set-up work between POXA and Pinnacle. It can be done: ask us and we will start it.
- Upkeep: None. It updates by itself every night.
CSV upload
Upload a stock file and a sales file from your own system. Set up in minutes.
- Stock: Yes. A snapshot of what you have now. Each stock file replaces the last one.
- Sales: Yes. Each sales file adds to the ones before, and we tell you which dates to send next.
- Car data: Yes. Add the VIN or reg of the car each part came off.
- Set-up: An admin adds an email for the reminders. Then anyone on the account can upload the two files.
- Upkeep: By hand. Upload new files at least once a week. We email a reminder when they are more than 7 days old.
eBay store
Your eBay listings count as your stock.
- Stock: Partly. Only the parts you have listed. Parts on the shelf that are not listed are missed.
- Sales: Partly. eBay sales only. Counter, trade and website sales are missed, and eBay orders carry no part numbers.
- Car data: Partly. Only where a listing shows the VIN of the car it came off.
- Set-up: One click: sign in to eBay.
- Upkeep: None. It stays up to date by itself.
Only one is used at a time. If you have Pinnacle, that comes first. CSV upload can sit beside an eBay store and takes over from it.
